still no fix for persistent problems?

Hi

I got a renegade edition at xmas and played for maybe 10hrs then left alone until recently. For some reason I started playing again and got real addicted. After maybe 40-50 hours use I got the problems with scratches and rewinds alot of others seem to be having. It's made the game unplayable for me and I'm real disappointed as it's great and would play for much longer. I guess I could try a refund but it seems from reading various articles the chances of getting the same problems again are good - high?
For the record the probs I'm having are that the table registers other buttons being pushed during scratches and the rewind function only works after 3-5 tries and even then it registers buttons being pressed during the rewind. I was getting pretty good at it with 5 star ratings in most mixes on hard so I know it's not that i just suck at it all of a sudden.
It's a shame as I searched on this problem I notice a DJ hero 2 coming out and I sure would like to get that.. but I won't if this problem cant be fixed? ie won't be burned again.

ok well I never bothered trying for a refund or exchange as I got over my part time addiction to DJ Hero. I notice all the decks now have some 'fully satisified' moneyback guarantee on them (I'm in Australia) or something......
I won't be buying a DJ 2 when it comes out, as much as I'd like to....
