opening green pad

Postby ewestra » Fri Jul 16, 2010 12:26 pm

Hello,

A while ago the green pad on my drum kit (Band Hero drum kit on Xbox 360) failed to register any hit, it would only register when I would press a finger deeply into the drum. Since then I bought a replacement sensor, and I had no trouble removing the pad. The only problem is, is that the sensor is encased by the green plastic back end of the pad.

Is there a way to seperate the green back end without just destroying the rubber caps at the bottom?

Hi

Thanks for your question!

Yes there is a very easy way of doing it - if you squeeze the rubber caps they will pass back through the hole they come through in the green plastic - if you are having trouble doing this you can try lubricating them with a bit of washing liquid.

Hope this helps
