Hitting Red Drum Sounds Red and Blue Drum

Postby jphotz » Sun Jun 06, 2010 6:07 pm

I am using wireless Band Hero Drums on a Wii Platform. Haven't played the game much, so wear and tear shouldn't be a significant factor. Slowly began to notice inability to get any sort of accuracy streak. Accidentally noticed during practice that hitting the red drum also fires the blue drum.

So glad to have found your site. I have already ordered two of your solder-less drum repair kits. Based on what I have read, I am not sure that is what I need for this fix, but thought I would pick them up just in case I ever need them!

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Hi

If the problem is the blue drum pad being too sensative then you should also be able to set it off by hitting another pad quite hard or by picking the drumkit up and shaking it around. It might be sorted by getting hold of a drum tuning kit direct from acitvision warranty or more likely you will need to use one of those solderless drum repair kits on the blue pad. There is a small possibility it could be a short on the circuit board but I would try the blue pad first.
