Xbox 360 GHIII controller button issue

Hi I have been having a problem with the blue button on my wireless les paul guitar controller. The button will work for a while and then all of a sudden it will stop working and then it will work again. Is there something I can do to fix it or some part that I can replace?

We have done an article on trying to repair the fret buttons but due to their nature they cannot easily be repaired or repalced, this is often a new guitar situation!
