GH III Wired Controllers

I have two GH III x-plorer controllers for xbox360. When I plug them into my 360 I don't get a green indicator light or what appears to be any power whatsoever. I took them to a friends house and tried with the same results. I also tried switching the short USB cables with no luck. Any ideas what can be causing this? We've been careful with these guitars and they have seen limited use over the past year or so. I could maybe see one not working but both not working makes me curious. I was curious if there is anything I can do at home to try and repair these on my own or would you recommend I toss them. Thanks.

Hi Majordad, welcome to the forums

I am sorry to day I know nothing about the wired xplorer controllers! All our energy recentl;y has gone into looking into the new things like band hero and DJ hero so I don't have any time to look into this for you either. I only hope that one of the other knowledgeable forum users will be able to help out with this one - hope you get them sorted soon though!
