To keep things simple if your problem with your guitar is about strumming i.e. not downstrumming, not strumming at all, double / phantom strumming etc, chance are the problem lies in the small microswitches on the circuitboard inside the guitars. This was a common problem with the GH4 guitars and Activision claim to have sorted it out for the new GH5 guitars but only time will tell!

All of these problems are likely to be fixed by replacing the switches (or only one switch if you know it is only one causing the problem)
